Some strange things have been happening around the school this year, starting with unnaturally warm weather and a lack of rain fall. To the casual observer, it may appear to be nothing more than an autumn drought of some sort. But in a world when our worst nightmares- werewolves, vampires, angels, demons, monsters and man-eating beasts, curses and rage, magic and spells, are all common place this strange fall weather could prove to be far more deadly.
Without the knowledge of the school, a series of moderate earthquakes have opened fissures in the crust of the earth on which the Island of Nublar sits. At first glance, these cracks in the ground appear to be nothing other than cool- allowing students to glance down into the center of the earth, to feel the heat and steam and sulfuric smoke that spews from it, and then go about their day. But in this world of the supernatural, the center of the earth is far from a simple ball of fire. As time passes and fascination with the numerous fissures seems to dwindle, a new development.
Students are disappearing in the night.
With a scream and a roar, the student body is starting to wane, as though disappearing into thin air. While walking home from class at night, while hiking in the woods, while studying late in the library, some even right from their dorm room beds. Students, everywhere, of all types, are vanishing... often times, with evidence of a violent struggle... and...
With fire damage.
The stables are being broken into, the doors left burned and singed, animals are found with great burns on their backs and heads that look remarkably like large paw prints or claw marks. The rooms of students who have been taken in the night show the same streaking burns, some were even left on fire to be put out by firefighters. Fire, earthquakes, and fissures oh my. Is a monstrous beast running rampant on the island of Nublar, with a taste for students? And if he is, why does he seem to be targeting only the worst students- the drug dealers, the tricksters, the pranksters, the obnoxious, the ones on the list of most likely to be expelled? How could a mere monster know so much about its targets? And if it's only one monster, how could he target so many so quickly? Could we be dealing with more than one? If so, how many?.... an army?
In a world full of demons and dragons, can we really assume that the center of our earth is a dormant ball of fire? Or do we really have to come to terms with the idea that we could be dealing with a real case of hell on earth?

Welcome to Version 3 of Nublar Academy everybody. >3
As the title and new plot suggests, some weird things are going on around the school. And by weird, I mean hellish and demonic. The idea is that hellbeasts are crawling to the surface of the earth through fissures in the ground. They sneak around at night primarily (as they have to avoid the "heavenly" light of the sun) and pick students out of their beds or whenever they're alone or in small groups. The hellhounds and creatures then take the students back through the fissures down into hell where the students are either held captive or (if the student is black/dark/evil enough) possessed by evil spirits and sent back to the surface as a sort of brainwashed double agent. They seek out other students they know and either trick them into jumping into the fissures or simply capture and drag them down by force, puppets for hell's evil plans completely against their will.
You guys, the members, are free to play ANY of the creatures involved in this plot. You may create/play a hellhound or hellcreature of some sort sent to the surface to attack and capture students. You may also take an existing hellhound or hellcreature and get in involved in this plot in the same way. You may also use NPC hellbeasts in your own personal plots and threads, having them attack or capture your own characters. As you can also guess, you can also play a possessed student if you'd wish.
Possessed students are kind of like werewolves. Once possessed a student basically loses control of their body and become a sort of puppet for an evil spirit inside of them. Their voice may change slightly (deepen or echo maybe, very creepy and demonic sounding), their eyes almost always turn red (the sclera may also change color- either to a sickly looking yellow or green, or it may turn completely black), and their behavior is often creepy, sinister and disturbing. However, since the spirit has access to the student's every memory and personality trait, they can maintain a sort of charade- pretending to be the student long enough to trick or lure friends, family and loved ones. Possessed students ALWAYS target their friends and loved ones first, simply because it's easy to use that trust as a lure.
Possessed students also, regardless of the student's original species, are able to shapeshift. 99% of the time, they are possessed by one of the many hellbeasts typically sent to the surface in their own bodies. So, as part of the possession, the student's body may use the powers of the hellbeast possessing them and may even take on parts of or the full appearance of a hellbeast. The fully hellion form of a possessed student will always be unique to that student- no two will ever look the same, and they will never look exactly like the hellbeast possessing them either. The hellion form of a possessed student mostly depends on the student's original species and their personality. For example, if the student was an aggressive type of purpose who liked to fight, their hellbeast form would likely resemble a powerful or aggressive creature like a wolverine or a pit bull maybe. It may also have horns and spikes all over it, to make it look more aggressive and menacing. A student who was dark and secretive would probably turn into a hellcat, perhaps black in color, and so on.
Anyway, go where you want to with this. x3 The idea is that this plot is very open and malleable, something that everyone can get involved in but at their own pace. So do what you want with it, create what you want from it and prepare for some hell and high water.
