A nice, large break in the trees where animals come to graze and students come to draw. The sun shines brightly here during the daytime and, at night, the soft grass is the perfect place for stargazing.

At the edge of the clearing stands a rather high, rocky cliff face of sorts that overlooks a river that runs across the island. If you can climb (or fly), it's a good place to find caves and shelter. It's also quite beautiful at night.

A fairly large river that strangely has no name. It is not particularly deep: just wide across, with fairly calm waters most places. It is teaming with fish... as well as the creatures there to eat the fish.

One section of the river, near the school, moves rather quickly, covered in a small array of rapids before turning downward suddenly in the form of a rather large waterfall. Students like to jump from the top of it into the deep lake-like pool at the bottom, but it is not a particularly safe activity and is not recommended.

Somewhere, near the waterfall it is generally said, lies a set of naturally heated pools of water. There are about four pools, separated by a rock wall: two for the guys to use and two for the girls. Make shift signs label them as such. This is the place to be in the winter time but don't let a teacher catch you way out here.

The southern shore of Nublar island is completely covered in the warmest white sand. It's a beautiful place to just chill out, especially when the weather is nice. The sun is hot, the water's cool and, assuming you ignore the sharks and poisonous jellyfish, it's a great place to be. It's a really long beach so, it's fairly easy to get to from both the school and town.
